| Today takes us through the Rocky Mountains into the State of Idaho, through the Great Salt Valley in Utah to Ogden.(B) Best Western Red Hills |
| Day 3 | Ogden - Kanab UT |
| This morning we visit the world-class
attraction, Thanksgiving Point. Spend time in
the 55-acre masterpiece of themed gardens.
We continue south crossing Utah, passing
through Fishlake National Forest and arrive
in Kanab, Utah. Kanab was nicknamed “Little
Hollywood” because of the numerous motion
pictures filmed in this scenic area. Unpack your
bags – this will be our home for the next four

| Day 4 | Kanab - Grand Canyon North Rim |

Today we depart Kanab and head south to
Grand Canyon National Park. Here you discover
vistas that are 1200 feet higher than they are
on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. These
viewpoints provide a more intimate and private
opportunity for you to experience the awesome
spectacle of “nature’s Masterpiece”. Nothing
can prepare you for this magnificent sight.

| Day 5 | Kanab - Lake Powell, AZ |

This morning we are off to Lake Powell for a
spellbinding scenic cruise. This cruise takes
winds in and out of the multi-colored mazes
of the sandstone formations created when
the dammed-up waters of the Colorado River
flooded Glen Canyon. The rest of the afternoon
is at leisure. This evening, join your tour director
for a special dinner on a movie set. (B,D) |
| Day 6 | Kanab - Zion National Park, UT |
|
We are in for a treat today when we visit one of
the most unusual and scenic areas in the United
States – Zion National Park. Zion National
Park boasts colorful sandstone canyons, rocky
deserts and forested plateaus and is one of
the most awe inspiring parks in the world.
On arrival at the park, view “Zion Canyon –
Treasure of the Gods” at the Zion Canyon Giant
Screen Theatre. You will have plenty of leisure
time to explore this phenomenal area. (B) |
| Day 7 | Kanab - Bryce Canyon, UT |

Today we say farewell to Kanab, on our way
to Bryce Canyon National Park displaying a
spectacular array of thousands of delicately
carved spires and hoodoos. Bring along plenty
of extra film to capture the eerie beauty of this

| Day 8 | Bryce Canyon - Pocatello, ID |
| We say goodbye to Canyon Land and travel
north to the city of Pocatello, located in
southeast Idaho, nestled at 4,448 feet in the
western foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Cottontree Inn |
| Day 9 | Pocatello - Great Falls, MT |
| Returning through familiar countryside today,
we cross the Monida Pass into Montana,
arriving in Great Falls for the night. This evening
join your tour director for a farewell dinner at

| Day 10 | Great Falls - Calgary - Edmonton, AB |
| It’s homeward bound today. We have journeyed
through some of the most beautiful sights
in the world and we carry with us memories
of good times and the appreciation of new
