| Day 1: | | | Edmonton-Calgary-Elkwater, AB
Depart home city and meet fellow passengers en route to Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park, a stunning new facility where you can step back in time and experience the Blackfoot culture. Continue to an unexpected treasure, Alberta's Own Cypress Hills Inter-provincial Park, nominated as one of the "Seven Wonders of Alberta". on arrival check into the hotel for a 3 night stay. | Day 2: | | | Medicine Hat Day Trip
Following breakfast at the hotel, board the coach and travel to the vibrant city of Medicine Hat, home to the Saamis Teepee, the tallest in the world. Visit the Medalta Potteries National Historic Site - which once produced over 75% of the pottery in Canada - is now an interactive museum dedicated to the preservation of our industrial past. Time will be spent at the Esplanade Museum, which has the important role of preserving the history of Medicine Hat and the surrounding region and the primary depository for cultural artifacts in Southeastern Alberta. Return to the hotel for the evening with time to explore the boardwalk located close to the hotel. (B,D) |
| Day 3: | | | Cypress Hills Inter-provincial Park
Today will be spent exploring the "Park", the first inter-provincial park in Canada and the highest point between Alberta and Labrador at a height of 1466 meters above sea level. A local naturalist guide will show you all the park has to offer, panoramic view and a unique mix of wildlife and vegetation. What could be better than finding an oasis inn the heart of the prairies at the Cypress Hills Winery. With luck the skies will be clear this evening for stargazing. (B,L,D) |

It is time to bid farewell to Alberta's Own Cypress Hills, taking with you wonderful memories and hopefully lots of photos of this region of Southern Alberta. (B) |
