Day 1Home – City Calgary, AB
Your adventure begins as you arrive in Calgary - Alberta’s Cowboy City. Enjoy leisure time at your downtown hotel before starting your tour tomorrow morning. International Hotel
Day 2Calgary – Edmonton – Grande Prairie, AB
Meet fellow passengers and your guide this morning at a welcome breakfast. Travel and pass through Edmonton, a city that maintains it ties to the Klondike past and the Capital of the Province of Alberta. Watch the beauty unfold through Northern Alberta and see grandiose lakes, mighty rivers, abundant wildlife and untapped wilderness. (B) Select Plus Hotel
Day 3Grande Prairie – Fort Nelson, BC
Travel through the great northern prairie region of Alberta en route to Dawson Creek and stop at Mile “0” of the Alaska Highway. Continue into British Columbia’s picturesque Peace Country with its abundance of natural history and agriculture land. (B) Lakeview Hotel
Day 4Fort Nelson – Watson Lake, BC
Journey through peaceful valleys and alpine meadows and arrive for a brief stop at Liard Hot Pools; Canada’s most spectacular natural hot springs. Be sure to dip your toes into this natural hot pool. Next see the world famous “Sign Post Forest” that gives you a down to earth view of global navigation. This evening tour the Northern Lights Centre and experience the folklore and the science of the Northern Lights. (B) Belvedere Motor Inn
Day 5Watson Lake – Whitehorse, YK
The Nisutlin Bay Bridge will enable your crossing into Teslin, Yukon. This is the longest bridge on the Alaska Highway. Enjoy the reflections of the glorious mountain ranges in the crystal clear lakes. See all that Whitehorse has to offer on a city tour including Miles Canyon, the Fish Ladder and the SS Klondike National Historic Site. Tonight whoop it up at the famous Whitehorse Frantic Follies. Day 6 & 7Whitehorse – Dawson City, YK
Travel north on the Klondike Highway past Lake Laberge, made famous by Robert Service’s poem, “The Cremation of Sam McGee”. Stop to view the Carmacks Interpretive River Front Boardwalk and the beautiful Five Finger Rapids. Arrive in Dawson City the heart of the world-famous Klondike Gold Rush. Tonight visit Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall, Canada’s oldest and most unique casino featuring live can can girls led by Diamond Tooth Gertie herself. (B) Downtown Hotel

Day 7: Dawson City, YK
This morning visit an actual Gold Mining Dredge, one of the largest wood hulled, bucket line dredges in North America and pan for your own fortune. This afternoon relax and enjoy a leisurely afternoon as you relive gold rush crazed Dawson City and explore the boardwalk shops of this town from the past. (B)
Day 8Dawson City – Tok, AK
North to Alaska! Today you travel over the “Top of the World Highway” and stop at the unique town of “Chicken” named after the state bird – the Ptarmigan that resembles a chicken. Then it’s on to the Village of Tok, where the Eagle Trail crosses the Tanana River and sternwheelers once plied the river. (B) Young’s Motel
Day 9Tok – Fairbanks, AK
Mail your postcards this morning at North Pole, Alaska as you stop by Santa Claus House. Continue on to Fairbanks, the hub of Alaska’s heartland. This afternoon enjoy a cruise of the Chena and Tanana Rivers aboard a sternwheeler known as Discovery. You will see a bush plane taking off from a "bush" style runway, witness the "wedding of the rivers," and gain insight into the ancient Athabascan Indian culture on a personalized tour of the Chena Indian Village. Tonight step back in time and visit Alaskaland for a delicious baked salmon dinner, followed by a musical review at the Palace Theatre and Saloon. (D) Bridgewater Hotel
Day 10Fairbanks – Denali National Park – Wasilla
Incredible vistas provide a feast for the eyes today on your journey through the town of Nenana to Denali National Park and Preserve. The panoramic views of the famed Alaska Range continue to take your breath away as you see Mt McKinley – North America’s highest peak. Arrive at your overnight destination, the small Alaskan town of Wasilla a year-round recreation paradise. Grandview Inn
Day 11Wasilla – Anchorage, AK
Get away from the crowds and enjoy some fantastic photo opportunities as we get an intimate and personal visit at an Alaskan Husky dog kennel. View the Iditarod video, take a kennel tour and go on a nature puppy walk. Continue to Anchorage for lunch served inside a Goldmine at the Sourdough Mining Company with storyteller Dusty Sourdough! Then explore the past at the Alaska Native Heritage Centre and experience the people at Anchorage’s premier cultural attraction. Hear the songs and stories and see the dancers. Day 12Prince William Sound Cruise
Imagine cruising the calm and protected waters of Prince William Sound accompanied by a National Forest Interpreter. The vessel hugs the coastline while icebergs glide silently by. Pulling into a bay the vessel floats right up to a 1700-foot high active tidewater glacier! See otters, eagles, puffins, sea lions, whales and glacier-wildlife. This is wild and dramatic Alaska up close. (L)
Day 13Anchorage – Beaver Creek, YK
This morning see stunning vistas as you travel to Gakona Junction, climbing to Mentasta Summit before descending into Tok, where you rejoin the Alaska Highway. Then it is on to Beaver Creek, passing through beautiful scenic forests and meadows in bloom. A highlight during a stay at the Inn is the entertaining and satisfying Rendezvous Dinner Show where songs and skits add to your dining pleasure. Day 14Beaver Creek – Whitehorse, YK
Today depart Beaver Creek for historic Burwash Landing and travel alongside the magnificent St. Elias Range and Kluane Lake. En route, make a stop at Klukshu Village and Kluane Wilderness Village. A visit will be made at Sheep Mountain Visitor Centre near Haines Junction – the home of the Dall sheep. (B) High Country Inn
Day 15Skagway, YK
Travel west over the White Pass Summit and see some of the most panoramic views of the terrain en route to Skagway. For those who like to “ride the rails” an optional train trip to Skagway will be offered. You will fall in love with the quaint port village of Skagway and the fresh sea air. At the end of a day wind your way back to Whitehorse and join fellow passengers at a “Farewell to the Yukon” dinner at the hotel. (B,D)
Day 16Whitehorse – Dease Lake, BC
Say goodbye to the Yukon and head back into the Province of British Columbia. Returning over the Nisutlin Bay Bridge the coach heads south to travel the famous “Stewart-Cassiar Highway”. Some of the continent’s most inspiring beauty and plentiful wildlife are glimpsed along this route. The communities on this highway provide a contrast of cultures, old and new. You’ll never forget your stop at Jade City for a tour of a jade mine. No wonder Dease Lake is known as the “Jade Capital of the World”! (L) Northway Motor Inn

Day 17Dease Lake – Stewart, BC
Your continuing journey on the Stewart-Cassiar Highway has you passing through Mount Edziza Park. The scenery is spectacular and the wildlife is abundant. Stewart is well known not only by its surrounding spectacular glaciers, but also as a thriving industrial port. (L) King Edward Hotel
Day 18Stewart – Prince George, BC
Believe it or not one of the most scenic drives in North America is still waiting today as you motor through towering coastal mountains, icefields and hanging glaciers. Journey through Burns Lake and Fraser Lake and follow the beautiful rivers and valleys of north central British Columbia on your way to Prince George. Sandman Hotel
Day 19Prince George – Jasper, AB
Today head over the great Canadian Rocky Mountains including a stop at the range’s highest peak of Mount Robson. Be delighted with the Rocky Mountain town of Jasper, tucked away at the base of its giant neighbors. Upon arrival in Jasper visit Maligne Canyon and Pyramid Lake before spending some leisure time in the shops of the town site. This evening take an optional ride up the Jasper Tramway to a point of view that is 2295 meters in the air or a gentle float trip down the sparkling Athabasca River. Lobstick Lodge
Day 20Jasper – Banff, AB
The Icefields Parkway offers an endless succession of scenic wonders. First stop is dramatic Athabasca Falls, before arriving at the Columbia Icefields. This living glacier’s melt-waters feed three oceans! Visit the Interpretive Centre and take the Ice Explorer ride to the base of the glacier. Next is a stop at beautiful Peyto Lake. Spend time in Lake Louise, truly one of the most picturesque places in the Rockies. Enjoy a stroll along the shore or visit the Chateau’s enticing shops. Then it’s on to Banff. (B,L) High Country Inn
Day 21Banff – Calgary, AB
First on the itinerary today is a sightseeing tour of Banff including Bow Falls, Cascade Gardens and much more. Ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for a panoramic view of the Banff Townsite below. On the journey back to Calgary spend some quiet time reliving the memories of the sights, the sounds, indeed the MAGIC of Alaska and the Yukon. (B)
