Day 1Edmonton - Calgary - Great Falls, MT
Welcome aboard your luxury motor coach as we depart the cold winter of Alberta in search of sunny Arizona and California. We clear customs at the US Border and overnight in Great Falls.
Day 2Great Falls - Salt Lake City, UT
Today takes us through the Rocky Mountains into the State of Idaho, through the Great Salt Valley in Utah.
Day 3Salt Lake City - Wendover, NV
Following a city tour of Salt Lake City, discover the border state town of Wendover, a perfect opportunity to enjoy Nevada style gambling or relax at the resort.
Day 4Wendover - Laughlin, NV
The weather starts to become warmer as we cross the Utah border and enter Nevada. Be on the look out for Desert Bighorn sheep, Nevada’s state animal. Check in to the hotel for a 3 night stay and prepare to enjoy Laughlin Winter Break, a festival celebrating life to the fullest for the 50 age group.
Day 5&6Enjoy all the activities at Winter Break
There will be something going on from morning until evening. You will have to pick and choose what interests you. Options will include live entertainment, fitness activities, educational seminars, all types of dancing, a Senior Prom, wine tasting, a Polar Bear Dip in the Colorado River, Free Gaming Tournaments and MORE! Use your meal card valid in any of the Golden Nugget restaurants.
Day 7Laughlin - Yuma, AZ
Arizona here we come! En route to Yuma, we stop in Lake Havasu and see the extensive man-made lake – 45 miles in length. View London Bridge made famous in the children’s nursery rhyme, which by the way isn’t falling down. It was taken apart and reassembled in Arizona. Continue south and arrive in Yuma, nestled in the Yuma and Gila Valleys of Southern Arizona, offering a climate that blends pleasant desert sunshine with the cool waters of the Colorado River. The clean air affords residents and visitors alike a year round visit of surrounding rugged mountains.
Day 8 - 12Experience Yuma!
Yuma is one of the only two National Heritage Areas in the west, blessed with a rich cultural heritage and desert beauty. During your stay in Yuma:
– Visit the Yuma Territorial Prison State Park. Famed in literature, movies and television, this penitentiary housed many of Arizona’s most dangerous and notorious criminals.
– Take a customized Agricultural Tour and visit several farms including a lettuce field and citrus crops and see them in the process of planting, managing and harvesting.
– Visit the Arizona Market Place – a shoppers delight.
– Learn that peanuts are a vegetable at the famous Peanut Patch and taste their delectable peanut fudge.
- Enjoy leisure time at the hotel or take optional tours that your tour guide will organize.
- Travel south across the border to Algondones, Mexico - a good place to purchase inexpensive medications.

Day 13Yuma - Palm Springs, CA
Say goodbye to Yuma and take a leisurely drive to Palm Springs, stopping en route at the Oasis Date Farm. We arrive in Palm Springs, the garden spot of America, where you can swim every day of the year, shop until you drop or you can enjoy the many attractions that the region has to offer. There is something for everyone!
Day 14&15Palm Springs
Palm Springs has lured visitors worldwide to bask in its natural splendor. During the next two days you will:
– Discover the quaint downtown area of Palm Springs located within walking distance of our hotel.
– Learn all about the Hollywood stars on a special celebrity tour of Palm Springs.
– Enjoy spas, museums, casinos and art galleries in your leisure time.
- Board the world's largest rotating tramcar for a spectacular ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
- Shop at Desert Hills Factory Outlet Stores for those one of a kind items.
- Visit Village Fest - hosted by the City of Palm Springs every Thursday night in the centre of town.
- Treat yourself to an optional afternoon or evening performance of the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies.
- Indulge in Breakfast every morning at the hotel.
- Rest and relax at your choice of two outdoor pools at the hotel.
Day 16Palm Springs - Mesquite, NV
We begin to head for home today, passing through California and crossing the border into Nevada. Enjoy lunch and leisure time in Las Vegas before continuing on to our overnight destination.
Day 17Mesquite - Ogden, UT
We start our passage home today, leaving the State of Nevada behind and return to the State of Utah.
Day 18Ogden - Great Falls, MT
Returning through familiar countryside today, we arrive in Great Falls. Join your tour director this evening for a farewell dinner.
Day 19Great Falls - Calgary - Edmonton, AB
It’s homeward bound today. We cross back into Canada have journeyed through some of the most beautiful sights in the world and we carry with us memories of good times and the appreciation of new friendships.
