Arrive into Los Angeles mid afternoon meet your
tour director and transfer to exciting Long Beach,
California. The hotel is conveniently located within
easy walking distance of an array of shops and
restaurants at Shoreline Village and the new Pike,
trendy bistros. A special welcome dinner is planned
before taking your reserved seat inside the Crystal
Cathedral for the evening performance of “The
Glory of Christmas.” The story of the Nativity is
told through the creative blend of a cast of more
than 100 actors, with live animals, flying angels
and spectacular special effects inside the all-glass

| Day 2 | “Lights, Cameras, Hollywood!” Tour, Beverly Hills and the Getty Center |
| This morning enjoy a memorable tour of
Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Highlights include
Mann’s Chinese Theatre and the Walk of Fame,
the La Brea Tar Pits and a stop for lunch at
world famous Lawry’s Prime Rib Restaurant
in Beverly Hills. Spend the afternoon at L.A.’s
premier art museum, the Getty Center, perched
high on a hill with breathtaking views of the

| Day 3 | New Year’s Eve - Universal Studios or the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library |
| Today, it’s up to you how you spend your day
(admission to either attraction is included in
your tour package). Choose from either a day at
the world’s biggest and busiest movie studio,
Universal Studios, or enjoy a drive out to the
Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi
Valley. At Universal, your visit includes a guided
tram tour and plenty of time to discover the
entertaining shows, rides and other attractions
in the park. At the Reagan Library, learn
about the events that shaped history during
the President’s eight years in office. Visit the
library’s newest permanent exhibit of Air Force
One. Return to the hotel from either attraction
with time to freshen up before tonight’s New
Year’s Eve Party. Promising to be the “bash
of the century,” enjoy an evening filled with
elegant dining, dancing to the sounds of a
live band, and the fun and games of a “Monte
Carlo” style casino. There are hats and party
favors for all and a champagne toast to ring in
the New Year! |
| Day 4 | Tournament of Roses Parade |
| Happy New Year! An early morning departure
is scheduled with a box breakfast and coffee
to enjoy enroute to Pasadena. The 119thenjoy enroute to Pasadena. The 120th Annual Tournament of Roses Parade will be making its way down Colorado Boulevard
in grand style and you’ll have a terrific seat
for the ultimate in up-close viewing. See the
giant floral floats; smell the aroma of the
millions of roses and other flowers; and hear
the marching bands filling the air with their
robust sounds. After the parade return to Long
Beach where a spectacular New Year’s Day
Champagne Brunch awaits you. The rest
of the day is at leisure. Most of the nearby
shops and restaurants are open on New
Year’s Day. |
| Day 5 | Showcase of Floats and the Aquarium or Crystal Cathedral |
| Travel again to Pasadena to see the floats on
display a unique opportunity to get up close
to the majestic beauty and splendor of the
Rose Parade floats after they have made their
appearance on Colorado Boulevard. Stroll
through the outdoor display, catch a film about
how the floats are constructed or pick up some
official Rose Parade souvenirs. The afternoon
offers a choice of ways to spend it. Included in
your tour, is either a visit to the Aquarium of the
Pacific or a guided tour at the Crystal Cathedral
for a closer look and photo opportunity during
the daytime. A special farewell dinner with
entertainment is planned for the evening. |
| Day 6 | Homeward Bound |
| After breakfast bid Southern California farewell and head home from Los Angeles, Long Beach or Orange County John Wayne Airport. |
