Day 1
Edmonton / Fort McMurray, AB
Travel north by coach and discover a land that’s truly wild and free, majestic fir trees, clear rivers and eagles soaring overhead. Tour the Oil Sands Discovery Centre, with its multi-million dollar expansion and experience the big-screen film presentation of “Quest for Energy”. Learn how the oil was formed millions of years ago.
Day 2
Fort McMurray / Edmonton
This morning, following breakfast at the hotel, we tour either the Syncrude Canada or Suncor Energy Plant - two of the largest mines in the world! Hear statistics that will absolutely astound you. Following the tour, we head back into town for lunch, then we are homeward bound; with a stop in Athabasca for a final meal. We arriving back in Edmonton about 8:00 p.m.
