Anderson Vacations’ team
building programs are unique, challenging, fun
and keep everyone involved. We can combine a selection
of activities to create one-half day or whole
day event. These activities can of course be extended
to incorporate as many one-half or whole days
as desired. And, we can divide your group into
any number of teams that will spend the day competing
in, enjoying, and learning from an assortment
of events and challenges.
Many of our activities can be completed in as
little as 15 minutes, making them perfect for
breakout sessions, though most of our exercises
are somewhat longer. Groups can often complete
3 - 4 of our individual events within an hour
to an hour and a half, and can comfortably complete
5 of our events within a three hour time frame.
All of our activities are easily adaptable to
group size and many can be conducted either indoors
or outdoors.
Pricing will vary depending on the number of
individuals participating in an event, on the
length of the event, and on the particular team
building event selected. Ask our expert event
planners for an exact price based on your group
and your specific choice of programs.
Here are two exciting ideas as to how to spend
one-half day with your team.
Trek through Johnston Canyon
to a world of frozen waterfalls and pillars of
blue ice. This interpretive guided walk along
the canyon bottom and over suspended catwalks
leads you past waterfalls frozen in mid-stream,
and through a short tunnel for a close up view
of the Lower Falls! The grand finale is the incredible
"Cathedral of Ice" at the Upper Falls.
It's the perfect destination for a hot chocolate
break (provided) and a chance to see ice climbers
in action.
This is a gentle hike suitable for all
ages and abilities. Guide and ice cleats are provided
for all hikers.
Fur Traders
had to snowshoe for survival. Now we snowshoe
for enjoyment! Follow in the footsteps of a Fur
Trader - (no hard work, we promise!) for a true
to life Rocky Mountain adventure. Led by professional
interpretive guides, a journey of discover awaits
you in pristine snow covered forests and along
the banks of frozen rivers. Track wildlife, learn
about winter ecology and have a snowy good time!
A gentle hike suitable for all ages and
abilities. Guide and Snowshoes are provided for
all hikers.

Prepare to meet Canada's "True North"
led by beautiful, world class huskies. Join these
exceptional guides and instructors for a wide
variety of exciting dog sledding adventures on
the edge of Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada.
Choose from two hour, four hour, full day, moonlight
and overnight dog sledding trips (ask for further
details on the longer excursions) - no experience
necessary. All tours begin with a 30 minute Introduction
& Instruction where you learn safety, commands
and the history of the dog sledding sport. Experience
the chill and excitement of driving a team of
Canadian Huskies in this majestic Rocky Mountain
wilderness, and let us take you on a magical journey
through Canada's past.

(3.0 hours total time - 2 hour ride)
This program is tailored to suit groups that
may have a tight itinerary. Enjoy the panoramic
views along the pristine trails of Goat Pond and
then the gentle seclusion of the mystifying Spray
Lakes. Driving the teams, with the friendly and
experienced guides, is optional. And, if driving
a dog team doesn't appeal to you then perhaps
cuddling up in a cozy sled and letting a fellow
group member drive sounds like a better idea.
In addition to time on a stunning mountain trail
you will warm up by the campfire while enjoying
our famous "Mystery Cookies" and sipping
hot apple cider.
(5.5 – 6 hours total time - 4 hour ride)
This half-day excursion is surely our most popular!
Enjoy the exciting, enchanting and picturesque
trail system meandering through entwined forests
of towering, wintry black spruce. Stop to savor
slow roasted deli smokies and other delicacies
done up Canadian style. Afterwards, glide along
whimsical trails adjacent to the mystic Goat Creek.
You'll have plenty of time to perfect your driving
skills along the trails.
(5.5 – 6 hours total time - 4 hour ride)
A unique experience in the snow! A true snow
day, this program offers a two hour dog sledding
program, an hour out on the trail, then a warm
campfire with hot apple cider and cookies. As
part of the program, you will travel into the
Winter Village by snowshoe and partake in winter
games like tobogganing, shelter building and much
more. This is a wonderful program for groups.
